Practice project: Paper Crane at the Rain Stop
Plan an original 30-second scene: one adult gives a paper crane to another adult waiting for a bus; both look toward the newly lit stop sign. Use one location, two people and one prop, without existing anime characters. Six shots last 4, 6, 5, 5, 6 and 4 seconds.
Practical steps
- Use S03, the crane close-up, as a small trial. Keep aspect ratio and reference image fixed.
- Describe the action as “fingers gently open; the paper crane retains its shape” and camera as “locked off.” Do not also ask for spins, pullbacks and running.
- Save A/B takes and note failure types: fingers, shape drift, prop changes or background wobble.
- Keep usable sections and connect them in editing. Split a complex handoff into two shots rather than demanding one generation do everything.
Deliverable and checks
Deliver one usable short shot and a failure log. Change one variable per retry. Actual duration, resolution and credits depend on the tool’s current interface.
