Practical guides

Turn six shots into an executable storyboard

Lock framing, eyelines, direction and duration in rough drawings instead of rewriting during generation.

Methodology & limitations

Original workflow guidance and analysis of official materials. Examples are practice plans, not finished, uploaded or platform-approved films.

Lesson goal

Lock framing, eyelines, direction and duration in rough drawings instead of rewriting during generation.

Practice project: Paper Crane at the Rain Stop

Plan an original 30-second scene: one adult gives a paper crane to another adult waiting for a bus; both look toward the newly lit stop sign. Use one location, two people and one prop, without existing anime characters. Six shots last 4, 6, 5, 5, 6 and 4 seconds.

Practical steps

  1. S01 is a 4-second wide establishing shot; S02 a 6-second waiting medium shot; S03 a 5-second crane close-up.
  2. S04 shows the offer for 5 seconds; S05 the receiving reaction for 6; S06 the sign and ending for 4.
  3. Mark positions, eyelines and any camera movement in each panel. Keep left-right continuity during the handoff.
  4. Enter six rows in the site planner, export JSON and assemble a 30-second still-image animatic.

Deliverable and checks

Deliver the board and animatic. If viewers cannot tell who passes the crane to whom, revise the board rather than buying more generations.

Check before use

Use only material you are entitled to use. Check voices, likenesses, fonts, music, models and characters separately. An AI provider does not obtain third-party rights on your behalf.
